Andrea Morningstar

Andrea is an Emmy award winning Director and Producer of commercial and documentary films. Her audio documentary My Pen Pal, about a young girl’s unlikely friendship with a demonized leader of a foreign nation, became a feature story on This American Life. Her work has exhibited at festivals and galleries internationally. Andrea established the documentary filmmaking program at Interlochen Arts Camp where she has been teaching since 2006. The Women filmmaker’s collective she founded called Final Girls, won a Knight Arts Challenge award in 2015.

Skye Macdonald

Skye Macdonald bases her creative and professional pursuits in ethnography, weaving personal narratives into her work and maintaining a commitment to social equity and the arts. After handling fundraising, sponsorship, event planning, education, and community partnership for the annual New Orleans Film Festival, Skye transitioned into her current role of producer. Her projects have included corporate commercials and web content, city campaigns, infomercials, short films, and music videos. Her wide breadth of experience, combined with a commitment to inclusivity in film, results in nuanced, authentic storytelling that resonates with audiences and consumers.

Claire Bangser

Claire Bangser is a New Orleans based photographer and filmmaker focused on human interest storytelling. Claire's existing body of work, including her New Orleans-based project, NOLAbeings, shifts the focus from making 'pretty pictures' to telling important and moving narratives visually.

Her work has been featured by a wide range of media, including National Geographic, The New York Times, TIME, Wired, Glamour, The Atlantic, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Amazon's DP Review, Le Parisien Magazine, HuffPost, Vox, Refinery29 and PBS, among others.

She’s a filmmaking instructor for National Geographic Student Expeditions.
